The censorship of journalism in China makes people lose the freedom of speech. The Chinese government uses a variety of different methods for the media supervision. However, there are many professional journalists still support the news supervision from government. They said it will be beneficial to create an authoritative news platform. This essay argues that the news censorship fits the development of China’s national conditions and news environment in a certain extent. Compared with some western countries, press freedom and democracy, China’s news censorship may the lack of humanization. However, according to the different cultural background of each country, religion, lifestyle and government structure, to develop the news management system is also reasonable.

The media censorship in China may lead to overlook the actual event, which could affect the citizens’ right to know. However, with the continuous development of social media, people have many communication platforms to share information on the BBS and communicate with each others. Social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and twitter etc., which are the free and transparent communication platforms. However, in China, the mainstream blog sina weibo has been censored by local government; the researchers have found that China’s censorship system is underpinned by a capitalistic market where many companies compete to provided better censorship services and technology. Keywords are the basis of widespread censorship strategy, which allow users to publish a topic while limiting their audience. Censors ensured that local news organization may ignore the public benefit and public interest news.

The China search engine system has been strictly regulated in the past five years, Baidu is China’s powerful search engine page, some sensitive images, video and posts are blocked and regulation. Sina weibo even require the user to use the real-name for registration, which leads to many citizens discontents and resentment. At the same time, there are also some people support the real-name registration, this is helpful to maintain the health and equality news environment. Supports said they just need to provide the basic information, rather than the bank account, home address or phone number; thus they understand the real-name registration rules. Real-name registration is to enter the user identity information, and this means that when it comes to sensitive topic, will be listed as key review regulators object. In fact, this is some media agencies to seek advertising costs, this is an irresponsible act on the part of users.

The purpose of the media organization is to publish the reality journalism, convey the information timely and effectively. There are three aspects to influence the government’s censorship of media organization, the government hopes to get the positive news, positive; media agencies also depend on the management authority and they hope to receive the first hand news, they have a common interest. Therefore, only improve the reporter’s professional quality and setting strict ethics and legal norms, to restrain the behavior of professional journalists, which is one of the effective methods to increase the news authenticity.
